About Klem's Garage:

My father, Gene Klem officially started the business on the current property in 1958. At the time it was known as “The Klem Family Farm”. Gene quietly took great pride in his ability to repair almost anything the Webster community could throw at him.

In the moderately sized farming town that Webster was, he repaired lawn mowers to farm equipment, cattle trucks to automobiles. He never advertised his services and has always been fair, honest, and busy with work.

I was fortunate to be his apprentice as well as his son. Shortly after graduating from Denver Automotive College, I took a serious interest in the business. As I entered the business, most of the small farms were beginning to disappear from the landscape. Our focus then turned to the service & repair of automobiles and light trucks.

Embracing changes in the industry, we have taken the steps necessary to stay with current technology. We pride ourselves in our ability to diagnose your vehicles problems regardless of how simple or complex they may be. We understand the importance of earning your trust and also keep in mind that your time is valuable.

Today Klem’s Garage is home to six employees, beside Gene & myself are: Scott, Dillon, Gary, Ryan, my son Pat and my wife Michele. Keeping the same principles and family values that Gene started Klem’s Garage with in 1958, we have been able to expand our growing business as it enters its third generation.

Gene Klem

"The master" although semi retired , it's difficult for him to simply walk through the shop without being asked for advice, or to lend a hand. He is always willing to help and the guys all have great respect for him.

Michele Klem

My wife of ...wow, many years, came on board " temporarily" about 15 years ago, when my very close friend and then office manager Bill Kinley became too ill to work. Bill passed on shortly after and we will always remember him. Michele is my rock. Simply put. She is a major contributor to our great success.

Pat Klem

My son Pat is the newest member to our team. Pat came on board full time in March 2014. He is excited to be our new office manager and motivated to give our customers the best experience possible.

Scott Goodwin

Scott came on board  in January of 2000. At that time he had almost 10 years of general motors experience. Scotty is an ASE certified graduate of Monroe Community College specializing in the automotive program. After working side by side with Scotty for well over a decade, I still can't help being envious of his efficiency and skill. He makes some of the most difficult jobs look simple.

Dillon Lechinger

Dillon joined our team 4 years ago. He has experience with aftermarket electronic installations, as well as 4 years experience as a GM tech. He is a graduate of Monroe Community College and is also an ASE certified master technician. His dry sense of hummer along with his amazing electronic & mechanical abilities are just a start. He retains knowledge better than anyone I know.

Ryan McCulloch

Ryan is well into his 3rd year at Klem’s Garage. He in in his fourth year of college at MCC, participating in the automotive technology program. Ryan is ASE certified and is rapidly becoming an excellent technician. Ryan is a true technology addict , if it's new technology, he knows about it.

Gary Brewer

Gary is our newest tech, starting in 2012. As our most experienced technician, he comes in after 14 years of service at Holzworths repair in Fairport, NY. Prior to Holzworths, Gary managed an automotive repair shop for 6 years. Gary is a truly great technician who cares about what he does. He has exceeded my expectations in every way, welcome aboard Gary.

Thanks to all our customers,

Tom Klem
